Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture (if you sign in with Google).
Financial Data: We store expense records, group balances, and settlement information that you create within the app. We do not collect bank account numbers, credit card numbers, or any payment instrument details.
Usage Data: We automatically collect certain information when you access the Service, including your device type, operating system, browser type, and general usage patterns.
Push Notification Tokens: If you enable push notifications, we collect your device's push notification token to deliver notifications about group activity.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process and track shared expenses within your groups
- Send you notifications about group activity (when enabled)
- Authenticate your identity and secure your account
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
- Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve user experience
3. How We Share Your Information
Within Groups: Your name, profile picture, and expense information are visible to other members of your groups. This is essential for the Service to function.
We do NOT:
- Sell your personal information to third parties
- Share your financial data with advertisers
- Use your data for targeted advertising
- Share your information with data brokers
Service Providers: We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics), subject to confidentiality obligations.

- Firebase Cloud Messaging: For push notifications. Subject to Firebase's Privacy Policy.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
